§ 1. General Provisions
- These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your access to and use of the online educational platform, courses, and content ('Services') provided by Steward Wealth Academy Inc. through the website stewardwealth.ca. Please read these Terms carefully before using the Services.
- By registering for an account or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.
- We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
- The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
§ 2. Definitions
- Platform – The online educational platform operated by Steward Wealth Academy Inc. at the domain stewardwealth.ca.
- User – Any natural person who creates an Account on the Platform and uses the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Account – A personal profile created by a User on the Platform, identified by an email address and password.
- Services – All educational materials, including courses, videos, text, tools, and support provided through the Platform.
- Regulations – These Terms of Service, which constitute the agreement between the User and the Platform.
§ 3. Type and Scope of Services Provided
- We provide access to educational content focused on personal financial planning, budgeting, and investing. The scope of access depends on the User's chosen plan (e.g., Explorer, Planner). All content is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice.
- Users may access free introductory materials or purchase subscriptions for access to premium content. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis as described on the pricing page. Users can manage or cancel their subscription through their Account settings.
- We grant the User a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the course content for which they have paid all required fees, solely for their personal, non-commercial, educational purposes.
- We do not guarantee any specific financial outcomes as a result of using our Services. Financial decisions are the sole responsibility of the User.
§ 4. Technical Requirements
- To use the Services, the User must have a device with access to the Internet and a current web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari) with JavaScript and cookies enabled. We are not responsible for any equipment malfunctions.
- The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Account login information and is fully responsible for all activities that occur under their Account.
- The User agrees to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of their Account or any other breach of security.
§ 5. Rights and Obligations of the User
- The User agrees to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate. You may not use a false email address or impersonate any person or entity.
- The User agrees not to share, copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell any of the content provided through the Services. Your Account is for your personal use only; you may not share your login credentials with others.
- The User is prohibited from posting or transmitting any unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate this provision and to remove any such content from the Platform.
- The User is responsible for all decisions and actions taken based on information obtained through the Services. You should consult a qualified professional before making any significant financial decisions.
- Payments for paid Services are due at the time of purchase and will be processed by our third-party payment provider. All fees are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified.
§ 6. Final Provisions
- These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
- Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Services shall be resolved in the courts of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
- If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
